India's Largest Residential Rooftop Solar Plant (295 Dwelling Units (Flats & Villas) inside 5 Acres Gated Community. Community-Funded Project from Corpus funds of the RWA- Casagrand Irene Owners Welfare Association (CGIOWA).
Powers the common areas for the whole community, Including Lifts, Club House Air conditioners, Water Pumps, Gym, STP, Water Treatment Plant, Garden water pumping, Street Lights, Car Parking and all common lightings, EV Car & Bike Charging Stations.
Generates 45000 power Units monthly and currently saves 55% in common power expenses and target is for 100% Savings within next 6 billing cycles. Recognised in sustainability and solar case studies.

Generating 540000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity annually from a solar rooftop system saving approx. 540 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
Approximately 13500 mature trees need to be planted and grown for a year to offset 540 tons of CO2 emissions, assuming one mature tree absorbs 40 kg of CO2 per year.
These comparisons help put the emissions reduction into perspective, highlighting the significant impact of our project.
# The above impact is based on the actuals of our project which is just 30% of our planned capacity. Once the planned capacity is installed it will increase it further by 70% more. Or 2.3X more from our current capacity

We await the policy changes to be brought by Tamilnadu State Government in the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission- Grid Interactive Solar PV Energy Generating Systems Regulations, 2024, So that we can go ahead with the 700 KWP Roof Top Solar Project under gross metering mechanism.
Our Project shall become feasible under Gross Metering under PPA, Gross metering is permitted for eligible consumer or generator who opt to sell the entire generated solar energy to the distribution licensee or the state power corporation.
CGIOWA has obtained pre-loan sanction letter from NBFC for Rs.2.47 Crores with a 72 months repayment tenure & EMI of Rs.5 Lacs. based on the revenue generated by power generated and supplied under PPA.
We are planning to sign the PPA with State Government or Private Industry for purchase the entire power generated from the solar power plant (Stage2 & Stage3) for a period of 25 years.
