75 KWp On-Grid Rooftop (PV) Solar Plant, was Inaugurated by Thiru. T. M. Anbarasan, Honorable Minister for MSME, Govt. of Tamilnadu on 30th Sep 2023.

The Plant was created using CGIOWA Corpus Funds of Rs. 37.50 Lacs, which will generate 10,000 units of Electricity Power every month, translating to approximately Rs.1,00,000/- per month of Electricity Power Savings.

The Return-on-Investment will be 25% annually and in 4 years, the Corpus loan will be repaid from the earnings of this project.

Since the Solar Plant Life Span is 25 Years, we will get returns from this as free electricity power for 21 years after we close the corpus loan.

This is a great example of using Solar Renewable Energy which is a natural resource for economic growth, which provide electricity without giving rise to any carbon emissions.

Also, this is the first attempt and pioneering work from the (RWA’s) Residential Welfare Associations in whole of Tamilnadu, where such large installation of Solar Plant has been carried out and CGIOWA has set benchmarks which others will follow.
